St John Rededication Church service

The St John Rededication service gives members the opportunity to dedicate themselves afresh to the service of God and of humanity as they express the responsibilities of their membership. The Order of St John is a Christian Order but not all of its members are of the Christian faith. St John organisations are working with people all around the world from many different backgrounds and religions. The service is one of great ceremony where robed members wear their robes and march down the aisle of the church, and symbols representing our services - first aid volunteers, community care volunteers, ophthalmic care, & first aid training - are offered for blessing. This year The Governor of South Australia, our Deputy Prior of St John is attending. The St John Band will be playing the processional march and national anthem again this year. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
