UNITS: HLTAID001, HLTAID002 and HLTAID003.  This is St John's express Adelaide CBD training course for Provide First Aid. This assessment only course is aimed at health care professionals and experienced first aiders who have knowledge of current first aid practices. It ensures the participants hold the necessary skills and knowledge to sustain life, reduce pain and minimise the consequence of injury or sudden illness until medical aid arrives. 

This 12-hour Mental Health First Aid course teaches adults (18 years and over) how to provide initial support to adults who are developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis.    




UNITS: HLTAID001, HLTAID002 and HLTAIDOO3. The aim of these courses is to provide the necessary skills and knowledge to sustain life, reduce pain and minimise the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional help arrives. This course provides all information required for confidence and competence in delivering basic first aid.


UNIT: HLTAID001. CPR course provides the knowledge and skills required to maintain life in an unconscious patient until medical aid arrives. 


 UNITS: HLTAID001 and HLTAID002. Emergency First Aid course provides the knowledge and training required to maintain the life of an unconscious casualty until medical aid arrives. It covers DRSABCD action plan and the basic management of common injuries and medical conditions.



SKILL SET: HLTSS00027. Occupational First Aid equips the participants for emergencies in a high risk work environment and provides the skills necessary to be responsible for a first aid room. 

UNITS: HLTAID001, HLTAID002, HLTAID003, HLTAID006 and HLTAID007. Advanced First Aid equips the participant for emergencies in both basic and a high risk environment and includes the effective use of Oxygen and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).This program is organised in a progressive manner that allows the participant to become proficient with the basic skills before progressing onto more complex ones.  


UNITS: HLTAID001 and HLTAID007. This course provides the skills and knowledge required to maintain life of an unconscious casualty until medical aid arrives. It also provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills to safely handle and use oxygen therapy equipment including cleaning, storage, set up and administration of oxygen on conscious breathing, unconscious breathing and unconscious non-breathing casualties. 




UNITS: 22282VIC and 22300VIC. This short course covers all aspects of Anaphylaxis and Asthma and includes assessment in both.

UNITS: HLTAID001, HLTAID002, HLTAID003 and HLTAID005. This 3 day course is suitable for individuals whose interest, activities or work take them to isolated areas; and equips them with the knowledge and skills to provide appropriate and prolonged first aid for an injured/ ill casualty, whilst awaiting medical assistance.  

UNITS: HLTAID001, HLTAID002, HLTAID003, HLTAID004, 22282VIC and 22300VIC. This unit of training describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. The course is designed for educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.  

UNITS: HLTAID001 and UETTDRR06B. This course is designed for people working on live or potentially live electrical switchboards and plant at “low voltages” (defined as less than 1000V AC or 1500 V DC). It is specifically tailored to the requirements of the Office of the Technical Regulator whose job it is to oversee electrical safety matters on behalf of the SA Department of Transport Energy and Infrastructure. 



This assessment only course is suitable for participants who are an electrician or employed in the electrical service industry, and hold current competency in HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation and UETTDRRF06B Perform a rescue from a LV panel (last completed within 12 months of course commencement). 



UNIT: HLTAID001.  CPR Challenge course is an assessment only course designed for participants who work in the health sector. It gives the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to achieve competency in HLTAID001: Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.



This non-accredited course teaches the necessary skills and knowledge that will enable workers the ability to carry out their work in a safe manner within their work environment. Work will usually be performed within a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures. 



The Course in Caring for Kids/Babysitting is designed for delivery to parents, guardians and/or carers of young children up to the age of 12.
