BROTHERS 3 WILL MAKE ADELAIDE DEBUT ON AUSTRALIA DAY

Brothers3 – the country/pop sensation that gained national attention on televisions X-Factor in 2014 will make the debut performance in Adelaide at the Australia Day in the City event.

A record crowd is expected to attend this years Australia Day in the City event which will also feature Australian dance sensation Sneaky Sound System and local artist Kaurna Cronin. Australia Day in the City is proudly presented by the Adelaide City Council and the Concert is sponsored by the Commonwealth Bank

“ We cant wait to get to Adelaide – we’ve never played there before so we can wait to get there and meet our South Australian fans. Our performance will include some fan favourites that we played on TV along with some of our own original music plus some songs that we love to play- it will be a bit of everything, a real mix” said Shardyn Fahey-Leigh

“ It’s a bit of a change for us to play in front of a crowd of 40,000 people on Australia Day- normally we play at the local pub on Australia Day and have a game of cricket in the beer garden afterwards!- Tayzin Fahey-Leigh added.

The Australia Day Council of South Australia who manages the event have been overwhelmed with Brothers3 fans who are travelling from all over South Australia to attend the event and hear Brothers3 live for the first time .

“Its incredible the effort that some of our fans go to see us- the support they show us is incredibly humbling and we really want to put on a great show to thank them” said Makirum Fahey-Leigh

A spectacular fireworks display will also occur from three separate launch points including the new Riverbank Bridge as part of the Australia Day Celebrations along with a display by the Australian Defence Forces of a 21 Gun Salute from the King William Street bridge and a fly past by an F-18! At 6:15pm.

St John Ambulance SA fully trained personnel will be on-site at the Australia Day in the City event, equipped to provide whatever first aid or medical help is needed.

“We are encouraging all event-goers to drink safely, check the weather conditions and familiarise themselves with the venue. St John Ambulance SA is delighted to be a part of such a wonderful community event,” says St John Ambulance SA CEO, Sharyn Mitten.

Australia Day in the City - the key capital city celebration for the National Day - is again being held with its traditional format in Elder Park with a community parade, concert and fireworks display.
