FAiS Grows by 65%

In 2013 St John’s First Aid in Schools Program (FAiS) taught vital first aid skills to 6,500 students across the state. This year the FAiS Program aims to deliver free first aid training - at no cost to school or parents - to 17,000 South Australian school children. Both volunteer and non-volunteer trainers will visit schools throughout SA and empower students with First Aid skills to act in the event of an emergency.


Through our Community Support Partner (CSP) Program, we have had various businesses contribute generously to the funding of the program. BGC Contracting (Whyalla) recently made a contribution to ensure the local primary school in Whyalla could take part in the program. Other contributors include:
